Network Leadership

The nature of business today is that people are increasingly accountable for results they must produce without the lever of hierarchy. Whether you call it cross-functional collaboration, leading within the matrix or network leadership, the capacity to build powerful relationships and have highly influential conversations are primary tools of effectiveness. In the Network Leadership program, participants discover the one-to-one relationship between the conversations they have and the results they produce. They learn to rapidly expand their effectiveness throughout a network.

“SDI's leadership programs are the only ones I’ve ever participated in over my 25-year career that get at the core of leadership.”

Ray Pawlicki, CIO

Participants in this program will:

  • Understand the highest level of strategy in the organization and how to translate that into valuable action plans

  • Influence without necessarily having authority in a highly matrixed environment

  • Become effective in rapidly assembling people into formal and informal teams to solve problems

  • Lead people to address breakdowns directly, without blame and excuses, and deal with “what’s so” to create pathways for effective action
